Creative Director & Creative Strategist
Every project starts from the same place — that photograph. The moment I understood I could recognize that truth the instant it was there to find.
I'm a Creative Director and Creative Strategist based in Klaipėda, Lithuania, working across brand strategy, campaign strategy, concept development, and production direction - with AI-assisted creative workflows built in from twenty years of practice. I built Edukadras into a school photography business converting well above industry norms, on zero marketing budget, from a standard I first found behind a camera twenty years earlier. That's what I do: take a vision and build the system that actually delivers it. Give me a fragment, someone else's muse, a client's brief, a single photograph, and I'll develop it into something complete.
The path here wasn't an accident. I started in Lithuania on a World Bank infrastructure program, learning how institutions actually move, then modeling in New York, learning how a brand's vision looks from inside the frame, before finding my way behind the camera and eventually to directing everything around it. Each step built a different piece of the same skill: understanding a system from every position inside it.
Five years as Parsons School of Design's preferred creative producer. A Domenico Vacca campaign that landed on a 5th Avenue billboard. Twenty years across New York, Los Angeles, Paris, Seattle, and Lithuania, sometimes originating the concept, sometimes executing someone else's vision at the highest professional standard.
Leadership came naturally to me early — at seven, I organized the neighborhood kids into a peace walk, years before I would have called it "leadership." Creativity, organization, boldness: that was the foundation. Knowledge and experience came later, built on top of what was already instinct — and that instinct never left. For years I worked with largely the same core team, not because people had no other options, but because they stayed, and when I've called people back for a project years later, they've come. Real input into the creative process, credit for what was theirs, the same respect I expected back. Most of them are still close friends today. The last decade I've worked largely solo, building Edukadras from the ground up, but the instinct hasn't gone anywhere, it's what I'm ready to apply at scale again.
Trained at the International Center of Photography, New York, and MIT in applied AI. BA in Business Management.
I can win a sprint. I built myself to finish a marathon.

Trained in classical violin from a young age, orchestra and a funk band both, then years spent on ethnographic music expeditions, traveling to find and record local musicians before their music and stories disappeared. That's still how I approach anything unfamiliar, go find the people who know it, listen first.
Picked up a camera for the first time at nine. Solo glider pilot at fifteen. Survived a military helicopter crash while working on an infrastructure project in Šiauliai. Moved alone to New York in my twenties with a modeling contract and no safety net.
Earned a place on the Swan 42 Quintessence racing team, competed in the Newport to Bermuda Ocean Race, twelve people, one boat, no room for anyone who can't be trusted under pressure. Climbed Pili, reached Everest Base Camp, rock climbed in Joshua Tree and Koh Phi Phi.
Twelve photography exhibitions across the US and Europe. Several published books. Writing, published and still-unpublished, ongoing.
The last decade has been about depth, not breadth. One country I chose to build a life and a business in, one platform I've stayed with since day one. When something is the right fit, I don't move on. I dig in.
